CANTILEVER METAL SHELVING
Cantilever metal shelving is designed for the arrangement and storage of particularly long or bulky loads such as bars, beams, iron profiles, wooden panels or sheet metal. Usually, the capacity of these shelving systems is greater than other types.
Among the cantilevers, you can opt for light or heavy shelving, to be preferred based on your needs.
This type of product is also called wall-mounted metal shelving, as it is also possible to fix only one side of the structure by securing it to the wall.
The specifications of the Cantilever system are as follows:
The base: the element on which the vertical forces of the entire system are discharged;
The column: vertical part supporting the shelves;
The shelf: or cantilever arm, is the protruding element of the structure on which the load is deposited;
The bolt: constitutes the part that fixes the shelf to the column;
The crosspieces: they play a very important role in the stability of the entire structure, holding together the columns and all the other elements. The Cantilever is a shelf storage system, resistant, versatile, ideal for storing long, bulky and heavy loads. The structure has profiles with variable sections and thicknesses in order to guarantee greater compliance with the customer’s specifications.
